Our Story
In 2008, Destiny founded Destiny’s Hair Loft in Elmira, driven by her passion for hairstyling and a commitment to creating a welcoming space for clients. With her children’s best interests at heart, led her to open a second salon in 2019 in her hometown of Drayton, Ontario, named Corner Krest Salon. This new location holds special significance, as it is named after Destiny’s family dairy farm in Mapleton Township, a three-generation legacy that she proudly honors through her work.
Corner Krest Salon continues to thrive under Destiny’s leadership, offering top-quality hair services and a warm, community-focused atmosphere.

With over 20 years of experience as a hairstylist and 15 years as a salon owner, Destiny has cultivated a reputation for excellence in hair care and customer service. She is well-versed in every aspect of the industry, holding numerous certifications and course completions that reflect her dedication to the craft. Destiny lives and breathes everything about the industry and truly loves what she does.
Emily Groves
Apprentice
Emily is a Gina’s college graduate. She is frequent in cutting and styling techniques, also offers special event styling. Her favourite services to do are fun fashion colours and highlighting services. Emily is looking forward to bringing her talent to the community and growing her clientele.
Karli Keen
Apprentice
Karli is in the final stages of completing her hairstyling apprenticeship and brings a fresh perspective and a passion for hair to the team. With a natural talent for working with curly hair, Karli specializes in creating gorgeous, defined styles that embrace every curl’s unique beauty. She also has a love for lived-in color techniques, including balayage and vibrant fashion shades, crafting personalized looks that reflect each client’s individuality. Karli is excited to continue mastering her craft, expanding her expertise in all services for both women and men.
